CMUA Stirring Mantles
CMUA heating mantles are used in wet chemistry to heat and stir liquids in round bottom flasks. The metal case is designed to remain "cool-to-the-touch" when in operation. Electrothermal heating mantles have a grounded stainless steel earth screen covering the element and are double fused for added safety.
• Temperatures up to 450ºC.
• Available in a comprehensive range of capacities from 50 to 5000ml.
• Stirring speeds up to 2000rpm with strong magnetic coupling.
• Unique air flow through the unit keeps the exterior "cool-to-the-touch".
• Rugged and easy to clean stove painted aluminium casing.
• Flexible coiled heating elements absorb shock, minimizing the risk of flask breakage.
• Heating element is attached to a rigid thermal insulating cartridge to ensure maximum heat transfer and support.
• Heating elements and insulation form an easy-to-replace heating cartridge.
• Stainless steel screen covering the heating element is grounded directly to the cable for added protection.
• Mantles are double fused for added safety.
• Non-skid feet and support clamps add stability.
• Certifications: CE.
